History of Misasagi
COCORO HOTEL KYOTO is located in a quiet residential area “Misasagi” (Yamashina-ku). Misasagi was developed along the Tokaido road that connects Kyoto city area and Otsu,Shiga. It is known as a place where Nakano-ooeno-ouji (later Emperor Tenji) , who lead the Taika Reforms and built Otsunomiya, is buried.
